制作婚纱的面料主要有缎、厚缎、亮缎、蕾丝、水晶纱、欧根纱、网格纱等。
- Lace : generally used as gown' edge decoration, but many times also on cloth's body and dress's hem area. It can be properly design and uniquely craft to enhance the dress surface and feel nice when touch. Generally expensive.
- 蕾丝 ： 一般作为边缘的装饰和点缀图案，也会大幅面用在婚纱的衣身及下摆处。设计秀美，工艺独特，经过精细的加工，图案花纹有轻微的浮凸效果，触感更是轻柔，价格昂贵。
- Filatured Silk/Fibre : crisp and smooth, hard to get wrinkled or puckered, affordable and popular. The disadvantage is that it always felt tight and not flexible.
- 纺丝／人造纤维 ： 面料较挺括，也不容易起皱，价格适中，大众化。缺点是有点拘身。
- Chiffon : light, elegant, flexible, soft, featurable, looks fresh and cold, suitable for summer wear.
- 雪纺 ： 面料轻盈、飘逸，具有丝的柔性，及轻薄特性，触感柔软，看上去清爽凉快，较适合夏天穿着。
- Natural Silk : looks noble, elegant, suitable for luxurious style wedding ceremony, used to be expensive, easily get wrinkled or puckered, therefore must be handled carefully.
- 全真丝 ： 高贵典雅的真丝面料婚纱，适合雍容华丽的宫廷式婚纱设计。但是价格较昂贵，且易起皱，需仔细打理。
- Thick Satin : heavy, expressive colors, suitable for ball gowns.
- 厚缎 ： 最常见的是台湾缎、香彬缎等，面料厚重，垂感好、色泽纯正，适合制作撑裙。
- Crystal Yarn : hard, looks transparent, light and thin.
- 水晶纱 ： 质感较硬，透明度好，重量轻、较薄。
- Taffeta : A great fabric for big dresses and structured styles because it is quite a crisp fabric. Easily to print with watermark or wood grain pattern.
- 塔府绸 ： 特色是轻身而滑溜，容易在面料印上水纹或木纹等暗花图案，适合夏秋季穿着。
- Organza : Great for overlays, veils, trains and full skirts. Light and elegant, very thin and transparent.
- 欧根纱 ： 较轻盈飘逸，非常薄而透明，手感稍微硬挺，适于蓬型轮廓的材质。
- Satin : texture, thick, looks heavy, solid, keep warm and suitable for tall and full figured people.
- 缎布：质地比较厚，由于受到地心引力的关系，所以有重感，给人的感觉非常实在，有线条感，保暖感，适合高挑、丰满型穿。
